Snow Day Saves Sanity

One benefit of being a teacher is that occasionally you get a snow day. I remember as a child loving snow days, it was an excuse to play, to go outside and run around with friends, to sleep in late and drink hot chocolate.

Today on this thankful snow day. I got to catch up and what could have been a week of stress has turned into a day of productivity. Cam and I even just finished making chocolate cookies. It's one of those days where I get to travel mentally.

Anyways as I've been preparing for my class I found an artist whose work I love. Her name is Stephanie Sujuko. She's great cause she's riffing on consumerism and labels by making her own stuff that appropriates many of the same items. Also she seems to be a natural designer.
